Price:

1/8 Beef = $5.50/lb hanging weight plus processing - Eighths are sold as a standard package that will be 50-60 pounds of meat. It will be about half ground beef, and the other half in ribeye, t-bone, sirloin, and roasts. No need to give cutting instructions.

1/4 Beef or more = $5.50/lb hanging weight plus processing

Beef will be processed at Dick’s Locker in Good Thunder. They will cut and package the meat according to your specifications. You pay us for the animal and the processor for the processing.

Typically, a quarter will be 150 - 180 lbs hanging weight and will yield 100 - 120 pounds of freezer meat. your processor will walk you through the cutting instructions, and I would be happy to give you some tips about how to have it cut.

Here is the process for ordering:

  1. Reserve your beef with a deposit by clicking below.

  2. We take the animal to the processor when it is ready. We will also notify you and bill you the amount owed to us based on the hanging weight (minus the deposit).

  3. You contact the processor to discuss cutting instructions, and pay us prior to picking up. (If you ordered 1/8, you do not need to give cutting instructions.)

  4. The processor will contact you when the beef is ready (usually 10 days after the processing date) and take payment for processing at the time of pick up.
